Online clinic on arthritis and pain management 2016
From 1 - 31 October 2016 talkhealth teamed up with a way with pain, Arthritis Action, Arthritis Care, Chronic Pain Policy Coalition and NRAS to present an Online Clinic on Arthritis and Pain Management. The clinic is now only open for viewing.
Clinical experts answered questions on issues surrounding arthritis and pain management, including osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, gout, pseudogout, psoriatic arthritis, spondylitis and systemic lupus erythematosus (Lupus or ‘SLE’).

People affected by chronic pain can source the latest news about developments in pain management and also take part in a discreet forum to share experiences. The forum activity helps to overcome the sense of isolation that people can feel. The charity provides funding to enable sufferers to receive the best possible treatment for pain management.

Arthritis Action
Arthritis Action advocates the self-management approach, empowering people with arthritis to manage their condition, and reducing the need for medical intervention. We are the only UK charity giving hands-on help to combat the pain of arthritis through our Arthritis Action local community groups, self-management educational events, offering access to evidence-based physical therapies and free one-to-one consultations with our Registered Dietitian.

Chronic Pain Policy Coalition (CPPC)
The Chronic Pain Policy Coalition (CPPC) brings together a wide range of professional bodies, patient organisations, parliamentarians and industry representatives, with one purpose - to work together to improve the lives of people living with pain and their families. The CPPC does this by informing decision-makers about chronic pain and the policy changes that the CPPC believes will help to aid those living with pain live a more productive, fulfilled and hopefully, less painful life.
National Rheumatoid Arthritis Society (NRAS)
The National Rheumatoid Arthritis Society is the UK 's only patient-led organisation focussing specifically on rheumatoid arthritis (RA) and juvenile idiopathic arthritis (JIA). NRAS offers support, information, education and advocacy for people living with RA and JIA, their families and their health professionals.
Rheumatoid Arthritis (RA) affects approximately 690,000 people in the UK and there are 12,000 children and young people living with JIA.
