Reviews
This was an excellent, easily accessible support programme that covered all aspects of menopause from peri to post. Lots of really informative articles with suggestions on how to manage the vast array of symptoms than might be experienced along with discussion around considering when to ask for GP intervention. A really useful programme; I took a lot away from it and realised that everything I was going through was completely normal for me, although we might all experience menopause differently. I’d thoroughly recommend women participating in this programme no matter what stage they are at as there really is something for everyone.
The mymenopause support program was extremely interesting to me as I was going through it but I didn’t know a lot about it I was having almost every symptom but I didn’t know until I started here so I learned alot as some days I felt as though it was something else like the pains all over my body or why am I starting to forget things that I have just done or simply for get what I was talking about my hair was also falling out which scared the life out of me then to top it of why did I wake up soaking wet and going red hot that I had to take clothes off in the middle of winter my skin was also so dry it felt like leather my mam had mentioned the menopause to me so I had a rough idea it could be that so when I came across this you can understand why it meant so much for me to learn all about it I wanted to look at HRT as I couldn’t go on like this it was making me miserable and poorly some days I didn’t even want to get out of bed as I was in that much pain nevertheless I read up on everything and I can’t thank the support program enough it’s helped me understand all I need to know about the menopause and that HRT is safe to take I am starting on the patches this week and I can’t wait hopefully it helps me control my symptoms.
This support programme is so informative and it has helped me enormously. I love the fact that a single subject is covered each week in a straightforward non-technical way. The information given is, in my opinion actually better than any help I have ever been given from my GP. The links provided let you get more technical information when it is needed. The whole experience has left me better informed and far less anxious about going through the menopause. Well Done!
This programme was extremely helpful as it covered so many different aspects of life, to help in all different situations.
I absolutely recommend this mymenopause support programme with talkhealth! I wasn't aware of so many issues, changes and help during all stages of menopause. Now I can say that I do understand women (and myself) around me why they are different in some stage of their life. I also know there is help, just ask! Thank you talkhealth!
Absolutely amazing scores of information!!!
I found this so informative and helpful especially as I'm in the early stages of perimenopause and helps me to realise I'm not alone and it's normal to feel the way I do.
This programme presented extremely useful information about menopause in an easy to understand way,
A very informative, detailed, helpful support programme which I found interesting and relevant. Really recommend it for all women at any stage of life so that you are prepared for the life change and all the emotional and physical challenges that come from it. There is light at the end of the tunnel and you will emerge a stronger and more confident goddess at the end of it. Its not the end but a new beginning!! :)
I have found the mymenopause support programme was excellent in all aspects of learning about how to cope with the symptoms caused by the menopause.
This support programme was very useful covering various aspects of the effects of menopause and how to manage the challenges you face. It was important to know what options are available to women and see what options are available to manage the symptoms
The word that sums it up: excellent. Current and welcome information. Yes, you can live well through menopause. And very well!!
Practical and helpful information across a broad range of topics that saved me the hassle of booking a GP appointment with the doctor. Useful to understand key symptoms and have links to other further organisations that can help.
Being new to the menopause i was very scared but since being on this programme, I am not scared anymore and I am more than able to talk about my symptoms, and it has also given me the answers to why I was feeling the way I was.
I was struggling when I started to get symptoms and although my doctor gave me tablets to help it was the lack of information that worried me. I found the information very helpful making me more informed altogether which made it slightly easier to manage and look after my symptoms and my self. This was really helpful
