Contact dermatitis - after effects

Hi all, my skin has become more sensitive due to hormone changes, and I've had a couple of episodes of dermatitis on my face, triggered by sun and heat. The skin on my chin hasn't gone back to normal after the last bout, it's still red and hot and a bit rashy looking, although it isn't itchy or sore. Is this normal? Is there anything I can do?

I take antihistamines daily and use emollient.
