Is my acne caused by food allergies/sensitivities?

Hi all,
I am struggling with spontaneous, inconsistent breakouts of loads of tiny whiteheads all over my lower face and neck (nothing on forehead).
I use the same topical skin routine every day, and most days my skin is entirely clear apart from one or two minor blemishes. However, lately I’ve been having these horrible breakouts with hundreds of whiteheads appearing overnight and throughout the day.
Can anyone help me try and figure out what is causing this?
