Mr Julian Shah is a Consultant Urological Surgeon based at University College Hospital, London and the Institute of Urology. He is also Director of Urology to the London Spinal Injuries Centre at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital, Stanmore. He is also Emeritus Senior Lecturer at University College London.

Mr Shah’s special interest is female and reconstructive urology, neurourology and urodynamics, which includes the management of incontinence and bladder reconstruction. He also has an interest in the management of bladder outflow obstruction and prostatitis.

He is a reviewer for several urological journals and has authored numerous papers, chapters and books. He runs an active research programme and teaches nationally and internationally at both an under-graduate and post-graduate level. He is a popular debater where controversial subjects are raised.
