Gary Turner
Gary combines detailed knowledge of the mind and body in his work as both a hypnotherapist and as a personal trainer.
As a hypnotherapist Gary is highly experienced in working with ‘difficult’ cases ranging from post-traumatic stress disorder, eating disorders, emotional distress, physical conditions, various health issues, and sports performance.
As a personal trainer Gary is an expert in fat loss and working with elite athletes.
As a sportsman Gary has career highlights of being World Champion 13 times. He has competed in over twenty countries in front of live audiences of up to 18,000 people. He has appeared in television, radio, film and other media around the world.
Gary is the author of the book ‘No Worries’ helping people clear their anxiety and wrote the foreword for Adam Eason’s book ‘Hypnosis for Running’.
Gary has been a Subject Matter Expert with the British Army working with the Army School of Physical Training. He continues to carry out various training and speaking roles with the British Army. He has worked with the psychology of the British Army Boxing, Judo, and Kayak teams.
Gary takes the scientific approach to all of his work and is a self-confessed geek, supporting his practice with continued studies of psychology, neuroscience, physiology, and nutrition amongst much more. Gary achieved a BSc and holds Chartered Status.
