Amritash currently works as a consultant Psychiastrist at the Sapphire Lodge, Beaton Hospital part of the Sheffield Children's Trust.

He holds a CCT in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and has previously worked as a Child and Adolescent consultant psychiatrist in a specialist community team in Nottinghamshire. His qualifications include MBBS, MRCPsych and MD (Psychiatry).

Amritash is skilled at diagnosis and management of a range of COMMON mental health conditions including ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder), Autism Spectrum Disorders, depression and anxiety disorders in children and young people. His areas of interest include eating disorders, trauma and PTSD.

He is also actively involved in teaching both medical students and post graduate trainees in Child and Adolescent psychiatry.
