Ann qualified as a registered nurse in 1988 and has worked for most of her career in the field of Urology. Both on the wards and within the clinical setting.

At present she is working as a clinical nurse specialist. She is part of a team of 3 who deal with patients who have benign and malignant urological conditions. She performs a variety of test including urodynamics and Cystoscopies, as well as treats patients with intravesical therapies for interstisical cystitis, frequent urine infections and painful bladder syndromes, as well as those with bladder cancer. As part of the team they perform nurse led ESWL sessions. She sub specialises in erectile dysfunction

She has recently joined as a council member of BAUN.
